Minecraft
Minecraft is fun, easy to use, and a great way for young people to get engaged in designing and creating buildings. Minecraft players are already spending countless hours re-creating famous buildings, or even designing entire cities and worlds from imagination. Just as many of today’s architects grew up playing with LEGO, many of the next generation of architects will have enjoyed Minecraft in their childhood.
Opportunities exist to learn how to organise an activity with children as an exciting way as part of your outreach activity. To learn how to run such an activity, contact ainto@thorntoneducationtrust.org for further details.
